Oven Baked Ruta-Fries

Rutabagas are an excellent source of vitamin C, a very good source of fiber, and a good source of potassium, manganese, and thiamin.

  • 1 BCfresh Rutabaga peeled and cut into 1cm fries
  • 1 teaspoon Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh Rosemary
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and Pepper to taste


  • Preheat oven to 400F
  • Toss all ingredients in a large bowl until rutabaga fries are evenly coated. Salt and pepper to taste
  • Spread rutabaga fries in a single layer on a baking sheet with space between the fries.
  • Bake until fries are cooked through with a crispy exterior, about 30 mintues


Use a 600g - 750g Rutabaga (about 1.5 lb). Line the baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
