Grill the steaks while these roast in the oven. Serve with a side of horseradish.

Shallot Roasted Potatoes


  • 1 ¼ lb BCfresh red potatoes washed and cubed
  • ½ lb BCfresh shallots peeled
  • 3 cloves garlic peeled
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper


  • Toss potatoes, shallots, and garlic with olive oil, salt and pepper. Place in a baking dish and cover with foil. Bake at 300°F for 30 minutes, covered, then remove foil and bake for 30-40 minutes, until tender.
