Roasted Radishes

  • 1 lb BCfresh bunched radishes stems removed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3/4 tsp kosher salt (½ teaspoon if used regular salt)
  • Fresh ground black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, dill, chives or cilantro for garnish before serving


  • Preheat oven to 425°F. 
  • Wash radishes, trim ends, and cut into halves
  • In a medium bowl, combine radishes, oil or butter, salt, and pepper
  • Spread mixture in a single layer in a 9×13 inch baking dish or small baking sheet.  Bake for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from oven, add minced garlic, and toss well.  Return radishes to oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the radishes are golden brown and fork tender.
  • Transfer to serving platter and garnish with fresh herbs.


Tip: When trimming, leave 5mm (¼”) of greens for added texture and attractive presentation.
