Ingredients
- 1 bunch BCfresh radishes, washed and trimmed
- Olive oil
- ¾ tsp onion powder
- ¾ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp fresh ground pepper
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F.
- Remove the stems and roots from the radishes, then slice the radishes into 3mm (⅛-inch) thick pieces using a sharp knife or a mandoline.
- Arrange the radish slices in a single layer on a baking sheet and add a light coating of olive oil with a pastry brush.
- Combine the garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. Sprinkle evenly over the radish slices and toss to evenly coat.
- Arrange the radish slices in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. If necessary, cook them in batches to ensure all the slices cook evenly. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until lightly brown around the edges and crispy, tossing or flipping the radishes halfway through.
- When finished, place the radish slices in a single layer on a cooling rack and allow them to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Mandoline Safety: When slicing radishes on a mandoline, always use the safety guard to protect your fingers. If you don’t have a mandoline, a sharp knife will work; just aim for the thinnest slices possible.
